As we all know here in the states, the Nissan LEAF is an all-electric car. This of course means that the vehicle has an electrical charging port and no gas cap for the tank that you would typically fill with gasoline for other cars. This all seems generally normal for us since electric cars have been around for quite a while. See, even if you’ve never actually seen or been around one, most people know generally about how they work.
Well watch what happens when a woman brings an electric car (obviously a Nissan LEAF) into South Africa, where no electrically-powered cars have ever been before. She pulls a LEAF prank at a gas station.
You can see the sheer confusion and disbelief as the petrol clerks check the first side and then check the second side of the car to find that there just isn’t a gas cap to flip open! Once they finally wise up and notice the flap on the nose of the car, many of them, naturally, grab to hose to fill ‘er up! Luckily the woman stopped them from actually putting anything in the port and revealed the truth.
